What is a Paint Correction Assessment

IMG_0880_edited.jpg

It is an assessment designed to educate and show you exactly what’s possible for your vehicle’s paint.

During your assessment, we inspect the paint thickness, overall health, any areas of concern. We then prep a small panel and show you a visual difference of what we can offer and the choices you have.

At All Fresh, we want to educate our customers and make sure they are well informed with the process to understand the level of clarity, gloss, and defect removal possible within their budget in a safe manner.

Removing Swirls and Scratches To Get The Most Gloss From Your Paint

IMG_517538FFFFE3-1.jpeg

Our Paint Correction service aims to remove oxidation, swirls, scratches, and imperfections in the paint.

Some deep scratches may not be fully removed due to the condition of the paint. Our goal is to achieve the best paint condition we can with what we are working with, not 100% perfection.

Proper maintenance is key after the service to keep your vehicle looking its best. Incorrect washing and drying tools can quickly reintroduce swirls and scratches to the paint. Consider Ceramic Coating to keep it protected longer.

Why Does the Scratches and Marring happen?

If your paint looks dull or shows spiderweb-like scratches under sunlight, those are called swirl marks. These imperfections are often caused by automatic car washes, low-quality towels, or harsh wash mitts. They rob your vehicle of its true shine.

Our paint correction service uses professional dual-action polishers and refined techniques to safely restore a smooth, glossy, and swirl-free finish.

Our Paint Polishing Process

1. Clean wheels, tires and gas cap

Targeting the brake dust and dirtiest parts of the car first

2. Foam Pre-Wash

Removing the bulk of the dirt and bugs before the contact wash to minimize scratching

3. Safe Contact Wash

Using soft wash mitts we gently clean the remainder of the dirt.

4. Drying The Car

To minimize water spots and scratches we use high quality plush microfibre towels.

5. Iron Decontamination

Removing iron embedded in the paint from brake dust and external particles

6. Physical Decontamination with clay

Using either clay bar or clay towel depending on which the car requires we safely remove further embedded contaminants in the paint smoothing it out.

7. Correction & Polishing

While removing swirls, imperfections, and deepening gloss we polish each panel and following up with an IPA panel prep spray.

8. Applying Protection

Either choose from a 6 month hybrid ceramic spray wax or a
3 year ceramic coating

9. Windows, tire shine, and final touches

Cleaning the windows to a streak-free finish, applying tire shine and looking around the vehicle one last time for any final touches.

Note: This process can take an entire day, sometimes more depending on the vehicle size, the level of correction desired, and the ceramic coating dwell time.

Should I Invest in a Ceramic Coating?

Ceramic coatings are one of the highest levels of paint protection you can put on your paint.

They chemically bond to the paint providing unbelievable gloss while protecting your paint from oxidation and contaminants. It also provides hydrophobic properties making it difficult for dirt to stick to your paint keeping it looking cleaner for longer and easier to clean.

A maintained ceramic coating can keep your car looking better than the day you bought it for years to come.
